This canopy is a 22’ diameter radiused courtyard canopy, made with an aluminum frame supported with 3 ½” schedule 40 pipe (4” OD). The outside radius of the frame consists of two radiused 1×4’s welded together to achieve the desired depth.

Outdoor Dining Shade Structure

The structure is a free-standing mild steel frame, finished in International Brand marine-grade epoxy paint system and connected using 316 grade stainless steel bolts which are separated from their mild steel host components with nylon washers and bushes to prevent paint damage and bi-metal corrosion issues.

Poolside Tension Structure

The purpose of the structure was to cover the poolside lounge chairs with a lightweight fabric structure. The client also requested no horizontal framework and maximum coverage for both sun and rain.

The structure was designed to provide a sheltered space from which pedestrians at the Ferry Terminal waiting for buses could view the New York Skyline including Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

12 interior LED lit double layered umbrella structures with cantilever support frame. The two (sandwiched) frames were fabricated with staple in aluminum frames and attached together at the perimeter and the center with no additional framing that would cause shadows.
