What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?
The customer needed a custom-made cover for his new Big Green Egg. He wasn’t quite sure of the design but all he requested was the colors to match his favorite football team, The Cleveland Browns. He allowed us to be creative and make the cover at our discretion.
What is unique or complex about the project?
What was unique about this project was the ability to cut and sew the egg portion to resemble a football. The customer requested the fabric colors to match the “Cleveland Brown’s” colors and their last name started with a “B”. We cut and hot knifed the orange letter B and the orange stripes, then we sewed them to the bottom portion of the cover. We were able to create a very unique cover with existing materials.
What were the results of the project?
This small project has created a lot of hype. The customer was thrilled with the finished product and we’ve received a great response from our friends in the industry.
