Briefly, this project is a stationary awning composed of a welded structure with 2 retractable sections.
This project consists of a very large custom outdoor patio lean-to style canopy for the newest Tap 42 Restaurant and Bar. The canopy is approximately 60’-0” long with a 25’-0” projection. The canopy is located over the outside patio seating area and bar at street level.
This large contemporary design uses large steel frame structure with tensioned shade cloth that gives protection from the sun but allows rain to pas through.
Trapezoid shaped canopy, measuring 1585 sq. ft, 71’ 6” wide at the building, largest projection 30’8”. The bottom of the canopy is 10’ off grade. Posts are 4” x 4” x ¼”, horizontal beams are 4” x 8” x ¼”. 15’ wide standing seam metal is 1824 GA.
