Please describe the project specifications

We were invited by the technical office of a casino installed in the south of the Mexico City, to change an old covered who was installed in a terrace to the smoking area.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

They requested us the change of an old covered where they had a visual problem and of few ventilation since this one area was assigned for the smokers' area and had been constructed a cover of bad quality and was giving to the space a bad image.

What is unique or complex about the project?

We design a cover respecting the majority of the structural elements doing a few changes in some anchorages and designing a new system for a few vertical covers overlapping to avoid water filtering rain but to allow the ventilation and to extract the smokes of the smokers and to allow that these did not go away towards the principal lounge.

What were the results of the project?

We achieve with our design and selection of materials a total change and a cleaner interior and clear sight, especially that the area was kept drafty, but without water of rain was filtering.
Also we achieve an exterior modern sight doing a symbol of visual lightness for the type of blinds type candles that intercept it in the central points giving him a new look to the building.
