Please describe the project specifications

This project uses 4 "Sail" shaped waterproof panels to emote sailing, waterfront & marine atmosphere, while shading and protecting restaurant customers from light rain and drizzle.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Due to the building being in a marina and being a registered historical building, this project took over 2 years to get through the city permit process.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The challenge was to get enough pitch in the panels to drain water of and still maintain the low profile the city planners required for approval of the project.

What were the results of the project?

It is now the focal point of the harbor with a shade and light rain protection for the restaurant on a historical building.
