Skylight canopy of large-scale commerical building


What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

This skylight of shopping mall made a full use of the roof space and took technical advantages of steel membrane structure (to meet the large span light weight requirements) which to enable roof cover entire commercial body and place role as ceiling of space cafe and Hanging Gardens. It is successful and perfect combination of business and nature.


What is unique or complex about the project?

The project is made up with irregular surface structure and entire project involved 146 pcs different specifications film.Each membrane has different dimension and not in same reference pattern which leads a very high precision on structures. In order to control precision, one engineer is assigned to do measurement, inspection and corrective action during whole steel construction progress to meet the accuracy.


What were the results of the project?

The owner is very satisfied with our engineering quality, construction progress, after-sale service and other aspects.
