This annual New Year’s Eve bash, held at a private club, provides guests with multiple levels of entertainment, including Grammy award-winning musical acts and high-profile stars of the stage and screen.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The purpose of this annual celebration is to continue attracting big-name entertainers, and new club members. The installation is heavily focused on entertainment – staging, lighting, and production. With a relatively small area designated for tenting, our team had to create a solution that would maximize the available space and allow for a larger guest-count than would otherwise be possible.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Our venue area measured approximately 50’x120’ and included pool deck, which further reduced our available area for tenting. By utilizing a clear acrylic pool cover, we were able to accommodate their required number of guests in a smaller space.

What were the results of the project?

The client happily reported that event attendance was great, and that the seamless transitions offered by the pool cover, the open-air design, and scenic waterway views had the guests feeling like they were “dancing on the water”.
