Please describe the project specifications

These project was design for INNOVA SCHOOLS, a private large educational institution with a lot of schools around Peru. They ask us to cover four schoolsyards some years ago and this last time four more and the one i show here is just one of them. All have the same design, but different measures, adapting each one to diferent space conditions.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The client needs to cover a schoolyard for outside activities and lunch time between their buildings. Also ask us to design something truly different for their schools, those are called "Innova" , so the task was to create something original for them.

What is unique or complex about the project?

In some way is unique the design of the whole frame , with the diagonal struts and the valley plus the inverse half cone in the front. This idea came in order to cover the roof from the user view, this is because its located in a desert área, with a lot sand in the wind, so the top surface is constantly dirty. Also the design of the mesh between the basketball field and the inner space, this was created to avoid the ball came in and to protect the kids form wind and sun during the morning.
