This project consist of three (3) Markilux M8800 Retractable Units, Tracfix Zip Side Retention System, and independent Remote Controls. Flame-retardant, Serge Ferrari Soltis 92 fabric covers a combined area of 336 square feet. The retractable structure is engineered for 85 MPH Exposure "B" Wind-Loads.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Driver SPG approached Zingg Design and Eide Industries for assistance with a motorized retractable roof solution to cover the new outdoor patio showroom of the Sub-Zero Pacific Arts Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA.

What were the results of the project?

Eide designed and installed three motorized Markilux M8800 Horizontal Retractable Roof Systems with independent Remote Controls. Flame-retardant, Serge Ferrari Soltis 92 fabric attaches to the Tracfix Zip Side Retention System to cover a combined area of 336 square feet. The retractable structure is engineered for 85 MPH Exposure "B" Wind-Loads.
