What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

To enhance the commercial building's curbside appeal, Swift Real Estate Partners and Indecon Builders contracted Eide Industries to assist with exterior renovations of a 107,264 SF office building in a prime location facing the 405 Freeway in Irvine, California.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Three custom awning frames, engineered for 90-MPH wind-loads, were designed to wrap around the exterior building structure, and span vertically, horizontally and return on the rooftop. White and Concrete Serge Ferrari 502 Fabric colors create a two-tone facade to accent the building's architectural features.

What were the results of the project?

Working closely with Indecon Builders' renovation schedules, Eide Industries successfully completed the Awning Facade portion of the Forefront 405 Project to enhance the architecture of the commercial building, while also upgrading the city landscape for daily commuters to enjoy.
