Please describe the project specifications

The project is made to cover a surface of 12,000 sqm of walkways in the shopping mall, the solution was to create a series of arches supported between two buildings joined in the edge to create 123 arc shaped cushions that cover the space and makes a hermetic space.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The client asked to make a roof that make you feel like if you are walking on the street, the concept of the shopping mall was to create an ambiance like a small town but because of the location of the shopping mall they need to climatize the space.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Is the biggest shopping mall in Mexico with this material and configuration.

What were the results of the project?

The result is incredible amazing because you really have the feeling of being outside and you can walk with thermal comfort thanks to the combination of materials and frit print that gives the visibility and thermal comfort.
