A cloud-inspired sculpture that was showcased at GRAY Magazine's Hot New Next competition during Portland Design Week.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The cloud was presented at GRAY Magazine's shark tank-inspired competition, called Hot New Next, which was was devised to find the most innovative trends in design.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The cloud has an acoustical element, an additional sewn-in panel to enhance the cloud's noise dampening qualities.

What were the results of the project?

The cloud was selected as the winner of the Hot New Next competition! It was a hit with the judges and audience alike. The designers will go on to pitch the cloud against the winners of the other regional events.
