Please describe the project specifications

Apartment poolside custom circular canopy structure measuring 22 feet in diameter. There are 2 circular frames fabricated in 4 sections each. Framing is made of round aluminum tubing. Fabric is Regatta Sunbrella Firesist and framing painted Axalta Haze Gray. The outer ring has 4 fabric sections and the inner ring has 1 fabric section. Fabric is designed to be removed for winter months.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

The client requested a shade structure to cover a circular bar and grilling area in the pool courtyard. The purpose was to provide a comfortable place out of the sun for residents to sit and enjoy food/beverages.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The water drains to the center of the structure and down the center support post below the patio. The custom bent perforated center post cover contains cutouts for TV’s, speakers and electrical access. The circular shape of the canopy is unique.

What were the results of the project?

The apartment complex owner is very pleased with the aesthetic look and feel that this unique shade structure adds to the pool area. The residents enjoy mingling in the bar/grill area while staying protected.
