Please describe the project specifications

Provide a high-quality guide wire / slide on wire residential canopy system for shade, UV, sun, glare, and heat protection. Customer requested all components used in manufacturing the product be stainless steel and/or aluminum to avoid corrosion issues. The customer did not want a motorized product or a cord pulley option. The homeowner stated up front he was very handy and would complete the installation himself.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Customer, who built his own wood pergola, wanted a simple, non-motorized canopy for sun protection. Rain protection was not an issue as he stated his family would not use the pergola when it was raining.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Quite honestly, nothing was unique as it was a simple, rectangular area to be measured and installed.

What were the results of the project?

The customer was very happy based on his comment below:
