Please describe the project specifications

Our longtime client purchased this 2019 65' Neptunus and was not satisfied with the provided enclosure. We designed an Ez2Cy enclosure system to make the enclosure look proper and add ease of use.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Replace the existing enclosure with a new Ez2Cy enclosure. The enclosure was track at the top and snaps on the windshield. We doubled the snap line as he did not want to drill into the windshield. The forward mid window was real glass and flipped up but was too heavy, we replaced with the .080 Ez2Cy window for ease of use. The Aft enclosure below the mid rail was solid fabric and we changed to Ez2Cy for a clear view aft.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The port and star side window track ended at the vertical stainless steel post and needed a secure and dry fit to work properly. We cut 1/4" starboard in a banana shape that were screwed to the outside FRP at the top, screws with finish washers were used to keep a clean look. 1 window on each side and the mid aft and mid fwd window flipped up and were secured with common sense fasteners. We added a zipper to the inside top of the enclosure to add a full 4 piece curtain made with Stamoid single coat to block the hot sun of Miami. Approximately 75 feet of curtain made up our design. This keeps the bridge 30 degrees cooler per customer info.

What were the results of the project?

A sure fit good looking enclosure designed with plenty of ventilation with flip up windows. Full Ez2cy port/star /aft and 1 mid window forward. The aft enclosure is track to track and split with zippers at the mid rail. Our clients brand new Neptunus finally has its proper enclosure. A very happy customer.
