Please describe the project specifications

We collaborated together to create a structure that created the feeling of a rustic lodge. The structure was 18mx30mx3.4m. The project utilized both solid roof panels as well as clear roof panels to create the desired look. The structure beams showcased a custom faux wood finish. The inside of the walls as well as the roof panels were printed with a wood grain pattern. The pattern of the print was specifically chosen to accent the flooring as well as the bar.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

A party planner approached the tent rental company to help create a lodge experience for her customer's 75th Birthday party. She provided a picture accenting wooden beams, antlers and a bar. In order to fit all the guests, a structure was going to be the best bet.

What is unique or complex about the project?

Structures have the disadvantage of being a large, white, open space. In order to meet her expectations the inside of the structure needed to be transformed. With expectations set, the tent rental company reached out to us to see how we could work together to meet her standards. With a floor sample in hand, we printed multiple samples on the proposed tent material to see which printed wood pattern would accent the flooring the best. After multiple samples, a print was selected and we went to work on printing the inside of the roof panels and sidewalls to give the structure a lodge feel. In addition, a faux wood finish was applied to the framework to complete the rustic look.

What were the results of the project?

We worked together to create the ultimate lodge 75th Birthday Party. The attention to detail by each of us helped coordinate the flooring, tenting and decor into one cohesive look and a very successful 75th Birthday Party.
