Please describe the project specifications

Two 50 ft by 165 ft tenting solutions were constructed for a local commencement ceremony in Hackettstown, NJ.

What was the purpose of this project? What did the client request?

Our team worked to manufacture and design two commencement ceremony tents for A Party Center, an event rental company in New Jersey. The local community college in Hackettstown, NJ held their 2018 Spring commencement ceremony in early June for over a thousand students and their families. In need of a couple of tents that could provide natural lighting and could satisfy a large capacity. A Party Center worked with Rainier to find a solution. The solution was to manufacture 50 ft by 165 ft tens that would be assembled side by side in a way that allowed the graduates and attendees to experience all that the commencement had to offer. The customer wanted something that was all-inclusive for their guests and a solution that allowed for a lively setting with natural lighting in addition to open space.

What is unique or complex about the project?

The uniqueness of this project was our team’s ability to incorporate all that the customer was looking for as well as exceed their expectations in such a short period of time. The tents needed to be large enough to hold over a thousand people without giving the impression that guests are enclosed.

What were the results of the project?

The community college, as well as A Party Center, were exceedingly happy with the atmosphere that we were able to provide throughout the ceremony. The tent we designed and manufactured was able to exceed expectations and provide use for future events such as these!
