Please describe the project specifications

Client wanted to update his 2012 Intrepid to current style. We researched a lot, played with template and rebuilt the foam and changed the design of the helm seat. All forward seating and gunwales too.

What is unique or complex about the project?

This was the first time I did any quilting at all, first re-design on a helm, the curved angled backrests were tricky, I found the best way to get the look of the double diamonds wrapping the backs on the forward seating was to add a purposeful split, I curved it and drew a design in with stitching and hand tied the points on the diamonds. Lots of the pieces had tons of planning. I expected difficulties, but that caused me to pay closer attention to everything and I was very surprised that most of these panels went together with very little problems.
