Please describe the project specifications
The client asked to have a modular system with two colors consisting of 16 modules with a combination of Serge Ferrari 1002 blackout membrane in gray and white in 1202, With the design team we developed a for with openings in the facade to help the ventilation on the inside and to have a comfortable space, in this area of Argentina temperatures goes to 40-50 celsius degrees, and the cantilever was also important, the original design from the architects has this round shape that helps to have the same modular design. We handled structural design, pattern design, pattern supervision, construction logistics, assembly supervision, and cleaning.
What is unique or complex about the project?
Definitely the difference from other projects is because we work as a team with other company, we make design, patterning, supervision for the other company on the fabrication of membrane and after supervision, training, and installation.
This project was installed during the close of borders in Argentina during the pandemic and we were working for 6 months, one of them in lookdown, this experience makes this project very special for us, unfortunately, the installation manager from the other company died because of Covid, and we'll always remember him.
