Please describe the project specifications

The ETFE translucent membrane structure is designed for Beijing Daxing International Airport toll station located by Langfang district.
The structural span of the project is about 140 meters, and the maximum height of the masts is about 46 meters from the ground. The total membrane-covered area is about 3570 square meters.
The proposal design of the project is based on cable network system surported by two steel truss masts. The membrane surface of project is a smooth plan due to architect demands. In order to increase stiffness in another direction for every membrane units, dual direction cable-net holding by film pocket working together with the film is designed for ETFE membrane system. The membrane is from AGC. of Japan, with 0.25mm. Cable with all parts are from China local made.
The client visited our first project in Beijing international airport and they want us making a new design based on the first one's idea. We made significant change for system, material and out-looking.


What is unique or complex about the project?

this project is our second work for Beijing international airport toll station(2008 did first one). They are significant for Beijing- entering symbal in the two airports.
