Please describe the project specifications

St. Francis Winery approached us during the addition of a new tasting room patio. After previewing their new patio design, we presented them with 2 design options. They were mid construction, so they approved the final design and moved into engineering quickly. New construction allowed us to design internally imbedded wall brackets. Bob designed/engineered the attachment so only a 5/8” anchor bolt protruded from the stucco to accept an eyenut. Very clean. The customer installed their own raw steel (natural rust exterior) pole attachments to engineering specs. The customer commented on how much they like the hazelnut color; and how the sail-to-sail connections brought such a pleasing and artistic component to the view towards Mt. Hood and Sugarloaf Ridge.

What is unique or complex about the project?

St. Francis is one of the oldest wineries in Sonoma Valley. We were honored to work on this historic property. The customer was very pleased with the shade coverage and final design. The ability to place internal brackets is unique and does not present itself often. This is the first project we have used the new Alnet Hazelnut color and it was very well received.
