Please describe the project specifications

Hubert and Katy Mussat, Owners of the Farmer and Frenchman Winery located in 12522 HWY 41 S. | ROBARDS, KY 42452, contacted us requesting a retractable fabric structure that he could use all year long, with the purpose of extending the indoor experience outdoor, adding additional seating space to its place, also allowing customer to enjoy the view, during the nicest spring-summer and fall month. Also they wanted the structure to be all-weather resistant, especially waterproof during the rainy season. The main challenges in the location were for instance the wall attachments to the ancient barn and of course the pre-existing wooden deck base that needed to be secured and levelled for the purpose. As we did not wanted to make major changes, to leave the place as charming as it was before our installation. The results, i think the pictures speak by themselves, not only a very satisfied customer, and WOW! comments received by the customers of the winery and restaurant. Being this our first project in the state of Kentucky, and the fact that this project brought to us another four additional opportunities, we wanted to take this success story with all our IFAI/PAMA members.


What is unique or complex about the project?

We have done several other projects across the USA, but this one in particular touched our hearts, as we all know the Hospitality Industry has taken a big token due to COVID. This project has brought hope to the owners, their shinny eye, at the end of the project, speechless and overwhelmed, has gone beyond our imagination. Also reminding us that we not only sell products that will benefit the business, but also happiness.
